The final classification for Race 1 of the Italian F4 Championship at Vallelunga has been published following the Stewards’ decisions.

David Cosma-Cristofor (Prema Racing) received a 10-second penalty for causing the contact that led to Alex Ruta’s (Van Amersfoort Racing) puncture. The Romanian driver therefore loses his podium finish and drops to eighth place overall, just ahead of Thomas Bearman.

The British Van Amersfoort Racing driver was also handed a penalty, this time of 5 seconds, for an overtaking move on Ary Bansal (US Racing) that forced the Indian driver off track and resulted in the loss of a position.

According to the Stewards’ assessment, Bansal was entitled to the racing line in that particular situation.

The revised final classification therefore confirms Luka Sammalisto (US Racing) as the winner, with Oleksandr Savinkov (US Racing) promoted to second place and Alp Aksoy (Prema Racing) completing the podium in third.

Noah Killion (US Racing) finishes fourth, ahead of Bader Al Sulaiti (Jenzer Motorsport) and Florentin Hattemer (Trident Motorsport).

Cosma-Cristofor and Bearman are classified eighth and ninth respectively, while Ary Bansal rounds out the top 10. Oleksandr Bondarev (Prema Racing) takes 11th place ahead of Arn Levi (Jenzer Motorsport) and Dominik Simek (Trident Motorsport). Italian driver Iacopo Martinese (PHM Racing) is classified 14th, with Evan Michelini completing the points-paying positions.
